Paint Booth
Paint booth has been a mandatory equipment in bodyshop. They are used to ensure dust free operation during the painting process so that the quality of the painting is improved. It has a paint baking facility for proper drying of painted area.This helps in getting factory finish paint quality. It prevents the operator from inhaling the hazardous paint fumes. ATS ELGI paint booth is designed to cater to all painting requirements for both water and solvent borne paints. Our paint booth distinguishes itself for high performance , low power consumption , high reliability and ease of operation. Prep Station is basically used for carrying out all preparatory works before painting, Even minor paint jobs can also be done inside this specially designed preparatory booth. During the sanding and putty application mode the air from inside undergoes 3 level of filtration before exhaust. During the primer and paint application mode the air from inside undergoes 4 level of filtration before exhaust.

There is obvious drift in the automotive paints from the usage of solvent borne paints to water borne paints . Although the water borne paints reduces VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions , but it takes longer drying time than solvent based paints. ATS ELGI smart dry reduces the drying time of water borne paints by creating a turbulent air flow on the painted surface which breaks down the slow moving boundary air and quickens the drying process.

Spot Welders
Spot welders find its application in most of the body shop welding applications.It is a process in which contacting metal surfaces are joined by the heat obtained from resistance to electric current. The gun is pneumatically controlled with adjustable stroke and double function trigger, the first one for clamping and the second one for welding.

We have been using traditional technology of transformer type spot welding machines till now but with the introduction of new generation high strength steel it has become difficult to weld as transformer type spot welder do not have sufficient welding power and the duty cycle is also low which results in overheating and affects the quality of weld.
The global automotive aftermarket Body shops have now moved to the next generation inverter type spot welders which are needed to efficiently weld the new generation steel as these Inverter type spot welder have high welding power with low power consumption. These inverter type spot welders can also effectively weld the normal steels.

Mig Welders/Plasma Cutter
MIG – MAG welders is also known as Metal Inert Gas welding or Metal arc gas welding. They use a continuously fed wire electrode to form an arc and to provide filler metal. A shielding gas is used to shield the weld from atmospheric contamination and oxidation.This type of welding find its application to butt body parts together.

Plasma cutter are used in body shop for cutting of metals. Plasma is nothing but fourth state of matter. Pressurized air is made to pass on the job , when the electrode (torch) comes in contact with the job an arc is produced which heats up the pressurized gas and creates plasma which is sufficient to cut the metal.

Paint Dryer
Infrared dryers are used in body shop for drying painted jobs with better quality at a very short time.In a traditional paint booth the hot air is made to pass on the jobs which will dry it from top-to-bottom. Due to this some moisture will remain inside the layers which will result in improper finish/short life of the job done. Whereas IR dryers uses short wave technology which heats the job from bottom-to-top so that the moisture inside each layer is eliminated which results in quick drying time and ensures long life for the painted jobs.

Panel Repair System
ATS ELGI Flatliner is a complete system for repairing body panels . It allows you to work from outside without removing the parts . It significantly speeds up the worktime and enables you to repair the original body panel without replacement. Major panel dents can be fixed using flatliner.

Dent Pulling System is used to repair minor and medium damages.
This machine has both manual mode and automatic mode.
